Our concrete scanning services
Concrete scanning is a non-destructive option to locate what’s inside a concrete slab.
We use a state of the art MALÅ CX12 GPR System 1.6GHz. Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR) are used to look inside the concrete and assess what’s inside such as conduit, rebar, post-tension cables and more.
The device is used to scan over the existing concrete’s surface which sends a signal into the concrete. Then a signal is sent back to the GPR device in different patterns determining the different types of materials that have been located inside. The GPR also gives us an indication of how deep the material is buried from the concrete’s surface.
